It's time for airliner paper plane again, this time I start with Airbus A380 with Air France Livery. In the wide body AIr France A380 there are of 9 seats first class on the upper deck, 80 seats of business class, 38 seats of premium economy and 435 seats of economy class. Air France received the first of their A380 in November 23, 2009. Paris - New York is the first route for their new A380. Now, Air France is operating 10 of A380 planes. Air France logo in A380 livery was changed from the first they paint it in 2009, the paper model template is already with the latest logo. The new logo looks more slick and modern with the red wing-like ribbon.

A new line for airliner category has been added, it is a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 model. It was designed and built based on DC-10 with three engines configuration, and was manufactured by McDonnell Douglas and continued by Boeing. I choose a KLM livery for the first papermodel release because KLM was the last airlines that ever used MD-11 as a passenger planes. All passenger MD-11 now already grounded, the last one was PH-KCE and also named as "Audrey Hepburn".You can see the name Audrey written just below the cockpit window. PH-KCE last flight was on November 11, 2014 after 21 years in service. The papercraft template consist of 10 pages, when it built it will have 51 cm or 19.7 inches length wingspan. The scale is 1:100.

This model is for remembering a tragic aircraft accident that happened on Air Asia flight 8501 on 28 December 2014. It lost contact with the ATC and crashed on Karimata Strait, just above the Java Sea. Until the release of this model, only 48 passengers and crews were found, but the black box which contained FDR was already found. The ping on CVR was already found too. The template originally was recolor and submitted by Miguel Quilab from Philippines, but when I look at it, the livery was different from the livery on flight 8501. So I have to find the real plane photograph and make a necessary changes. The engines also different from my original template, this Air Asia A320-200 PK-AXC use CFM engine, so I have to change the engines template as well.

Another Boeing 777 airliner model papercraft template, this time I made British Airways triple seven (B777-23/ER). This Waterside based airline has 43 of B777-200ER airplanes. There is something new in its logo, a crown logo added beside British Airways logo. The template is exactly the same as previous B777-200 model, only different is on the livery. The assembly instructions is the same as well. For you who is not familiar with model with inner glue tabs perhaps find this model hard, but if you try it according to the instructions I'm sure you will find this method is easier than ordinary pepakura style glue tabs.

As I mentioned before, it's easy to convert the Boeing 737-900 series template into any other series. This one is the first 800 series template, I use WestJet livery as requested by Paper Replika friend on the Facebook page. The 800 series is a bit shorter, 39.5 meter (129 ft) compare to 900 series with 42.1 meter in length or 138 ft, and still with the winglets. It has the range of 5,665 km on basic setup and 5,765 km on advance setup (WL). This WestJet operated aircraft has 168 passenger seats, and it has 35 planes of B-737-800. WestJet Airlines is a Canadian low-cost airlines, founded in 1996. Operating about 425 flights per day to 90 destinations in Canada, Unites States, Europe, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
