For a quite a long time since the last time I update this tutorial section. So here it is the next step which is unfolding step in Pepakura 3D Designer (Pep). Remember in the previous tutorials that Pep can’t edit the 3d file, it only help us to convert 3D planes into 2D planes and has the ability to edit and adjust the layout and flaps position. I’m going to use the same model as the last tutorial.

There was many request from many Paper Replika friends, for me to make another Pony paper craft. So this is it, after quite a long time I created a template of Applejack. The shape I use for Applejack is the 3D shape of Fluttershy and modify her leg pose a bit. Also in Paper Replika page, there was a request to make pony’s hair to become more three dimensional. Applejack hair and tail already has a 3D shape. And there is another improvement, I managed to fit all the parts only in 2 pages.

New type of soldier enlisted on Paper-Soldier category, this is The British Grenadier from 18th century, 1763. Actually I already aimed this "Red Coat" soldier to be a paper-soldier for quite a long time. As I remember they appear in The Patriot movie (Mel Gibson) an old movie Zulu, and I believe there are more that I haven't watch yet. Just like their song, there's none compare with a tow, row, row of The British Grenadiers, that red coat frighten their enemy. In their time off course, when camouflage tactic was not invented yet and when cover to shoot was for cowards. I really like their patriotic song, I think it's very encouraging, and it's one of my favorite patriotic military march songs.

Rumah Gadang or Big House in English are Minangkabau tribe traditional house, from West Sumatra. This model was inspired by a Royal Palace at Pagaruyung. There are two styles of Rumah Gadang, one level and multiple levels. Multiple level usually found on an aristocrat house. Rumah Gadang traditionally owned by a woman in the family, and will be pass to her daughter because Minangkabau is a matrilineal culture. The house must at least consist of 5 rooms and 9 rooms for ideal. The template consist of 5 pages of patterns, the scale is about 1:105. Recommend to use 120-160 grams paper.

This model is a request from Paper Replika new Facebook group, Paper Replika Friends. On that group you can discuss about every model made by Paper Replika and also you can make suggestion or request of model that you like and want to be made as paper model pattern. Every request will still filter by me, and only approved requests will be made. This RPG-7 paper model template contains 30 pages of patterns. The scale is 1:1, so I also made its inner construction. The warhead can be detach but with simplified model. I recommend to use 200 gsm paper and thicker for its inner constructions. This Soviet portable unguided rocket missile is very popular heavy weapon among armed forces in many countries. Some countries copied its design or reproduce under license.
WARNING : It is made of paper and will not actually shoot, just for display purposes. Please be advised, it may built with paper but it surely look like a REAL weapon, please do not use it other than display purposes, such as carry it around on public places. You could have problems with authorities. You can disassemble it when transporting. On some countries possessing this kind of model is illegal, please be sure before making the model.
