Applejack - My Little Pony Paper Craft

E-mail Print

There was many request from many Paper Replika friends, for me to make another Pony paper craft. So this is it, after quite a long time I created a template of Applejack. The shape I use for Applejack is the 3D shape of Fluttershy and modify her leg pose a bit. Also in Paper Replika page, there was a request to make pony’s hair to become more three dimensional. Applejack hair and tail already has a 3D shape. And there is another improvement, I managed to fit all the parts only in 2 pages.

Leica M9-P Edition Hermès Camera Paper Model

E-mail Print

This camera paper model was requested by a Paper Replika Friend in his email. It is not normal that I made a model from request almost immediately. I do read every emails, messages that I received but I always put it on my long waiting list, if I decide to consider it. But this Leica M9-P specially Edition Hermès is so cool and so stylish. Later I read it is worth $50,000 USD a piece! And this small digital camera were only made 20 pieces around the world. When I was  gathering info and images for 3d modeling, I actually little bit confuse to choose which model I am going to make, Leica M7 or M9, because M7 is in my opinion is more stylish and has more details, but I turned out to choose the easier one, the M9-P.

Custom AR Drone 2.0 hull : US Coast Guard Whispercraft

E-mail Print

Another template for AR. Drone 2.0 pilots, this template was made specifically for AR. Drone 2.0 outdoor hull, also I already created a new category for this. Started with the crash of my drone that resulting in a total loss of my previous NASA theme hull as you can see at the photo below, so I began this Whispercraft inspired hull project. Luckily the drone base itself were not damage at all because of the crash. Whispercraft is a fictional future helicopter from The 6th Day movie, starred by Arnold Schwarzenegger. When it came on coloring step, I thought it’ll be good if I color it with US Coast Guard theme. Then I search for US. Coast Guard helicopter, and found the Blackhawk then I copy some details on to this custom hull.

Glundung Pringis - Supernatural Creature Paper Craft

E-mail Print

This one is a Halloween themed paper craft. Glundung Pringis (Javanese) or "Rolls and Grinds" is a type of supernatural entity, it's not like an ancient myth which apart in distance past, this creature was last seen and was reported in 1965 in central Java according to a book about Java supernatural creatures, unfortunately I didn't remember exactly the title of the book and the name of the author, but I remember it's in English and the author is an American expatriate. I also heard about this creature beside other creatures from my parent stories when they were kids in Yogyakarta. This creature is mainly a head, or whole body looks like a head. According to the book, it's not as like as many people and articles said, this creature is not a human head. It's pretty bigger than normal human head with wider mouth line, but it's not human. Its favorite playground is on the ground where bamboo leaves lies as a soft carpet under bamboo trees. Its behavior rolling around and playing on the ground. There was some encounter with human being with this creature in the wild, it rolls, stops and grinding :D, funny huh?

The British Grenadiers Paper-Soldier

E-mail Print

New type of soldier enlisted on Paper-Soldier category, this is The British Grenadier from 18th century, 1763. Actually I already aimed this "Red Coat" soldier to be a paper-soldier for quite a long time. As I remember they appear in The Patriot movie (Mel Gibson) an old movie Zulu, and I believe there are more that I haven't watch yet. Just like their song, there's none compare with a tow, row, row of The British Grenadiers, that red coat frighten their enemy. In their time off course, when camouflage tactic was not invented yet and when cover to shoot was for cowards. I really like their patriotic song, I think it's very encouraging, and it's one of my favorite patriotic military march songs.
