This model is officially the first release in this year 2013 at Paper Replika. This second part consist of 10 pages of patterns. You have to follow step by step of the assembly instructions below in orderly fashion, so you will have no difficulties on building it. I change the color on little portions of the ship compare to the original anime version, but mostly I use the original color and shape. Happy building! :)
This paper model patterns was designed by Yudho Wiratomo (mypapermodel.blogspot.com). After a while he finaly return again with this nice template, a small yet detailed Humvee M988 I.E.D wheeled light armored vehicle paper model, with 1:50 scale. The patterns itself contains 3 pages in A4 paper size in PDF format, you can see the build photos below and its assembled size compare with our hand. You will need assembly instructions to complete this kit that you can look for it at Yudho's blog.
This pattern originally was posted on papermodelers.com by Edgardo Rivera. He asked me a permission for that purpose about a month ago. Edgardo have modify “Despicable Me” Minion wearing Captain America costume, include with the shield and it turned out so cute. Then I asked him to share this pattern to me so I can share it in Paper Replika, and here it is. This one sheet pattern originally in bitmap format then I convert it into PDF but still in bitmap PDF. There is no assembly instructions, but you can figure out yourself easily or you can open the previous Minions page for additional help.
Once again, this is when my 2 hobbies combined. I combine my new hobby on RC tank with paper model. I made a building model for RC tank diorama and planned to do more. The building is a typical Iraqi or Middle Eastern small house. A setup diorama is relatively important for RC tankers, because it enhance the joy of controlling our miniature scale model tanks. I owned an 1/16 M1A2 TUSK Abrams RC tank, it is a converted Hobby Engine brand with Heng Long electronic as you can see on the pics. There are smaller scale of RC tank that also popular which is 1/24, so I also made it in 1/24 scale. Both files are in PDO format because these are quick modeled and they are not detailed.
Actually I have received this model pattern since two weeks ago, but I just got time to edit it and upload just now. This model was submitted by Kim. As previous of his works, Kim recolor the original Paper Replika F-18 template with new livery. This time he make an F/A-18A from VMFA-232 Squadron. VMFA-232 is a code for US Marine Corps Squadron based in Air Station Miramar, California or The Red Devils. This Squadron is the oldest among other Marine Corps Squadrons, commissioned in 1925 with Vought VE-7 as their first aircraft. This squadron also involved on Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003) the last one on Operation Enduring Freedom (2005-2010) in Afghanistan.
Due to the large demand for the model of the Thousand Sunny then finally I made it. As the Going Merry, this Thousand Sunny paper model will be divided into 3 parts. This model is slightly larger than the Going Merry with different scales. Because if I use the same scale as the Going Merry, the Thousand Sunny will be very large in size. Which will result in a lot of parts that would be difficult to put in A4 size paper. This ship model is still using construction frames inside the hull. I hope I can finish all parts in 2012, but I doubt it because less than a week from now it will be Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone, happy holiday and may the force always be with us all , cheers.
