Because of so many questions from beginners about paper type to use for paper modeling so I try to explain it in this article. The fact is, there is no such special paper for paper model. You can use any kind of paper that available on you, however every paper type has its own plus and minus. When you are going to make a paper model you should know the size of the built model, large size will need more thicker paper than the smaller one. Also there are some paper that can be printed with home printer (inkjet printer) but some don't, it must be printed with laser, offset printer or digital printing.

Finally had time to complete Sword Impulse Gundam torso part. The template consist of 3 pages of patterns. Most of the parts are modular, only a few that are not closed geometry. I made this template as easy as possible to assembly, but still there are some parts that I can not make it easier. Just make sure you have a sharp cutter blade, and make all the patterns well-scored you will be okay. I left the shaft without axle for arm joints, because I still have to figure out new joint design for the arm parts later. This release is only torso, you can obtain head parts on previous release.

This model may looks familiar for those who ever saw my own depiction of Illuminati pyramid model. That was just my imagination though, but this latest pyramid model is a real deal. This so called "pyramid capstone" can be seen on museum on Cairo, Egypt. According to some articles about pyramid that I have read, the pyramids in their time was not like jagged stone bricks like we seen in our time. Those pyramids some covered with white limestone with smooth surface, and clean look, like modern building today. On the top of each pyramids there were a capstone, some made by red granite. There is one black granite that belongs to a King from Middle Kingdom (12th Dynasty : 1860 BC to 1814 BC), the name was written on that capstone, he is Amenemhet III. There's also inscriptions on it that says "Amenemhet beholds the perfection of Re". Re is the Ancient Egyptian Sun God.

Rumah Gadang or Big House in English are Minangkabau tribe traditional house, from West Sumatra. This model was inspired by a Royal Palace at Pagaruyung. There are two styles of Rumah Gadang, one level and multiple levels. Multiple level usually found on an aristocrat house. Rumah Gadang traditionally owned by a woman in the family, and will be pass to her daughter because Minangkabau is a matrilineal culture. The house must at least consist of 5 rooms and 9 rooms for ideal. The template consist of 5 pages of patterns, the scale is about 1:105. Recommend to use 120-160 grams paper.

This model is a typical German Army guard post during World War II. I made this model to add my collection of scaled building for my indoor/outdoor diorama for my 1:16 World War II RC tank. I also made it available in 1:24 scale as well. This model is quite big for paper model, so you will need reinforcement material inside it. The use of 300 grams or above thick card is also recommended. The template itself only consist of 3 pages for each scale provided. I still however working on a commissioned projects so I will continue releasing simple, quick modeled paper model until my work is completed, while  big projects (free) postpone temporary.
