Where's Wally - Waldo paper craft

Where's Wally / Waldo Paper Craft

E-mail Print

I still remember when I was in elementary school, my friend brought a book with lots of pictures but not a comic, we have to find a person with a distinctive outfit in the crowded beach, park or town scenery. It's very interesting, even though he's wearing a unique red white stripe long arm T-shirt, it's not helping much, it's still hard to find him. The book is titled Where's Waldo. I just know that Waldo has many names. in the US and Canada, he called Waldo but in the UK and Europe also called Wally. The book series is created by the English illustrator Martin Handford. I'm surprised there's no Wally / Waldo paper craft out there, so here it is, I made it for Waldo fans. Now you can make your own Where's Wally scene, by putting this paper craft in the crowded area and take a picture with your camera and the game begins for your friends and family.

Atlantis Space Shuttle Paper Model

E-mail Print

I had a space shuttle pencil sharpener when I was a kid, it was a die-cast metal with bronze color. I love it so much but I don't know where it is now. I want to make a paper model of a space shuttle subject for so long, but only now I have the chance to make it happen. So here it is, a 1:150 scale paper model of a Atlantis space shuttle STS-135. I choose Atlantis because it was the last orbiter that ended NASA space shuttle program. Atlantis completed its last mission and last flight on July 21, 2011. The paper model is using mixed of glue tabs style, conventional glue tabs and separate glue tabs for smooth seams. If you're new to this kind of method you can learn about separate glue tabs on Airliner category. This model is quite simple if compare to other templates with the same subject on the net. The complete model will have about 40 cm or 15.8 inches in height. I challenge you to add your own custom details :), have fun with it.

Ancient Quimbaya Airplane

E-mail Print

This artifact is some kind of jewelry made from gold. It was found on Colombia, it was dated around 1000 CE. It was made by the Quimbaya civilization, a pre-Colombian culture in South America. It was found together with other shape of gold works. The airplane design shape often made it associated with advanced technology from ancient time by many ancient astronaut theorists. Archeologist believed it was part of zoomorphic, animal shape objects. In 1994,  Peter Belting and Conrad Lubbers created an RC aircraft using this Quimbaya airplane shape and it could fly. In my opinion, I am an RC aircraft maker too, from what I learned whatever the shape as long as it has wing, power and have the correct balance on the Central of Gravity the airplane will flying, even you can make a lawn mower shape to fly. I think it's more like a flying fish than an airplane.

Baymax Container

E-mail Print

I made another papercraft from Big Hero 6. This time is a simple Baymax container. This container that looked like an emergency medical kit is also a re-charger unit for Baymax. In the movie Baymax pop out from this container like an inflatable jack, he is an inflatable robot.  The template only has 1 page, a very simple model. The size of this medical kit is the same scale as the previous Baymax model.
