Hulkbuster Paper Model - Arm (Final)

E-mail Print

I am sorry for late release of this final part, I've done my best.     It is ready for download, the template contains 23 pages of patterns. The blank template will followed soon after this. Like the previous part, the arm part still needs 2 type of material beside ordinary plain paper, you will need 2-3 mm thick cardboard. The fingers are fixed, but perhaps if I still in the mood after this, I'll make extended part for articulated fingers. Some of Paper Replika Friends already finished building the leg part, it stands almost 70 cm, so it's exceeded the height from the original plan and also taller from the actual Hulkbuster height in 1:6 scale. Both arms can be posed but with limitation, it can't fully bend the elbow. Enjoy the model and happy building it, don't forget to post the built photos on Paper Replika's Facebook page wall.

Hulkbuster Paper Model - Hip and Leg

Finally the Hulk-buster paper model part 3 is released. This leg part template contains 35 pages of patterns. I use new articulation joints design on this action model figure, never been used before in any Paper Replika models. By using 2 or 3 mm hardboard or cardboard for easier assembly and cut the build time tremendously and strength on the joints and bones structure. The assembly instructions only cover the hip and the right leg parts. The left leg parts are using the same number as the counter part, so be careful  and read the page title, before cutting the pattern.  After this I will not making other models except the arms set of the Hulk-buster. I want to finish it all, on this April. The blank template will be released tomorrow.

Hulkbuster Paper Model - Torso

Avenger 2 release date will be in May 1st for US audience, it's still 2 months ahead.  With the release of torso part, we still need 2 more parts left, which are leg and arm parts. I believe I can finish all the parts on the middle of April. As I mentioned before, I will make a blank template version on part 2 after the released of colored template. In this part, you will need 2 type of paper. Beside regular paper like 120-160 gram paper you will need 2 mm cardboard. I use cardboard to simplify parts that connecting the torso base with the armor plates. With the use of cardboard you can also save time to build this action figure.

You also need to reinforce part 9 and part 16 with cardboard which is drawn as part 90. This papercraft model is modeled using video and images of Hot Toys Hulkbuster action figure as references. Some parts are not very accurate, due to difficulty and for easier build.

This template was submitted by Cristiano Luis Diaz, he also who made the 3D model and unfolded it. Cristiano collaborate with Xiao Hui for adding the color and texture to the template. Mark 38 is a heavy lifting armor suit and it appears in Iron Man 3 movie, when Tony Stark order J.A.R.V.I.S to make "Igor" to hold the crane from tumbling down. Mark 38 is shaped like a hunchback servant from Frankenstein story named Igor, that's why it was named Igor. Before the Hulkbuster model 14 armor is made Mark 38 is the most powerful armor suit that Tony Stark ever made. The template is consist of 13 pages of patterns, with separate assembly instructions in PDO file.

Hulkbuster Avenger 2 Paper Model - Head

E-mail Print

The very first time I saw Avengers 2 Age of Ultrons movie trailer, I knew I have to make the Hulkbuster, the new Iron man suit armor into paper model. I posted about that plan on Paper Replika Facebook page on 2014. So here it is on January 2015, the first part of 4 segments is released. The Hulkbuster scale is the same as previous Iron man models, which is 1:6, so the Hulkbuster will be 60 cm in height when it complete. The 4 segments are : head model, torso, arms and leg. This Hulkbuster armor suit is a lot different the comic book version and a lot cooler off course. There will be blank template but it can only be made if part 2 is already released, because the first part only have 2 pages, too few. I still have not decided whether it will be made articulated (action figure) or statue.
