The last cartoon RC plane had surprisingly very good feedback from my audience, so I make another model. This time is Mig-21 Lancer in fatty or cartoon style. The original plans was making Spitfire, but change to Mig-21 because it won the poll on my channel's community tab. This Mig-21 is looks huge with 105 cm wingspan but only weight 1050 grams. It uses the same electronic as T-2 Buckeye. It has detachable landing gears, so you can switch mode easily on field, you can choose to take of run with wheels from ground or just tossing the plane into the air.

About 2 months ago I held a polling on my community tab, to decide between Douglas DC-3 or DHC-6 Twin Otter, the winner for the next twin motor RC model plane is Douglas DC-3. This project should have began last week but I ran out of 3mm foam board. I mainly use 3mm depron foam or polyfoam for the material and 5mm for the formers. The wingspan will be 2200 mm or 87 inches. This project will be divided into 3 or 4 parts, from start to finish and fly. In between each part I will make 2 new projects, so it will not too boring on just 1 subject.

The sole purpose of building this RC airboat is that I need a rescue boat for my RC seaplane. Just in case the seaplane has malfunctioned in the middle of the lake or failed take off or crash on landing, I could rescue it with RC airboat and bring back to the shore. The airboat plans is quite simple but still looking scale. The material is also depron foam 5mm the same material I use for building RC plane. The model is modelled from the real airboat, it is an 18 foot Sportsman from 1000 Islands Airboats from Wisconsin, USA. It's trully a scale model but like semi scale, because I simplify the parts for easier build.

Sometime ago there was a comment in one of my videos about request a cartoon style of fatty RC plane, but that time I was not interested for making that type of model, because I like scale model. Then about a month ago my friend brought his fatty RC plane on the field. When I looked at that plane I thought it's a challenge for me, so here it is I made a 1000mm cartoon RC plane, the model is T-28 Trojan. The model is entirely made from 3mm polyfoam or depron foam with 5mm foam for formers and spars. This cartoon plane can fly with sufficient power plant, after under powered on maiden flight I will test fly it again on this weekend with bigger prop and motor.

I already put an eye on this beauty, the T-2 Buckeye for quite sometime and now this time I share my build. This time I just want to make my dream jet, not to bother to simplify the shape, no detachable wing, no easy build, I just want to have her and fly it. I'm not expecting you to build this like any my other models, but if you want to this is a good flyer. My plan was to equipped this RC model jet with mechanical retractable landing gear or servo driven. But in a test, both had problem on the servo, I use plastic gear servo, maybe I should use metal gear servo. Finally I replace the main landing gear with servoless retract and problem is gone. Like usual I use pusher prop with NTM 2830 1000kv 370 watts motor, the same motor I use for Boeing 737-300. I also use the same prop 8x6x4 but with 4S battery. The prop specification is above recommendation but with 370 watt and soft blade I think it can manage. She can short take off and shoot the sky like on a rail. The landing is also easy, I am happy with the result.
